Re: [quicklog: micah c, neil d, cris m, louis d]
[Cris was ignored, Neil was ignored, leaving all of Micah's considerable attention upon Louis right then. He had come to some understanding that his end was near, but he wasn't going to go out laying down, crying and weeping and begging for his life. A part of him was angry about the way they talked, about killing him so casually as though it was something they did every day, and Micah took a little bit of pride in the simple fact that those who had saw their lives ended at his hands had not been done casually or without thought. He had thought them through, had executed his plans neatly and efficiently, and he still had their blood on his hands. Still had Joey's blood on his hands. Those deaths followed him and he made no effort to escape the guilt. He wasn't a good man, not any longer, and it was okay that it was going to come to an end.
But that end wasn't yet. Wasn't this moment. The jostle of his wrists didn't phase him in the slightest, skin bitten red and raw where the metal kissed his wrists.]
I'll show you. But only you. Not them. [He threw his head back in a gesture to the other two men.] Otherwise, you're never gonna find him, and that's not gonna hurt me none. But I'll show you, Lou. I'll show you where I hid the parts.
