Starbucks: Hal/Lucy
[Hal wasn't vibrating, but he was definitely in a good mood. Getting his ego stroked? Yeah, that worked for him, especially when it was done by a girl he hoped was pretty. But, she was Babs' kid and Babs was a total hottie and Dick was maybe handsome in his own way - Hal wasn't too focused on that.
Or on his other problem. She probably was pretty. Yeah, in his mind she definitely was.
And like always, he was five minutes late. (Punctuality was not in his skill set, unless there was a major catastrophe.) But that was fine, because there was definitely a bounce in his step and he actually smiled at the person coming out of the coffee shop as he came in. First to come off was his scarf, it was too hot inside otherwise, and he unzipped his leather jacket. The t-shirt underneath was maybe a little too lightweight for how cold it was outside, but he was inside and he knew how it clung to his frame.
He wanted her to look (there was that ego again). What good was showing off if there wasn't someone to watch?
And she was watching, because he saw her perk up like a hunting dog when he entered, and grinned, wide and toothy.] Tell me you're the beautiful Lucy.
