Re: Ocean's Eleven - Seven Hills: Neil, Cris & Sam
[The director looked unconcerned with everything Cris was saying. The man didn't care about anything, so long as he kept his wealth, and his expression said he was sure he would, regardless of what happened here.] This is my office, detective, and unless you have an arrest warrant, I don't have to do anything you say. Now, please remove your hand, so that I can contact our very pricey legal team. [This was a man that would gladly have his staff take the fall for every last infraction, and who had the kind of representation to get away with it. His smile said as much.] But, it goes without saying that we'll do anything to cooperate with an ongoing investigation. The outburst was an hour ago, during social hour.
[Here, he narrowed his eyes at Neil.] Though we should have been informed of any threats beforehand, don't you think? [Compensated was implied, and he watched as Neil picked up the photograph, obvious disgust on ruddy features. He didn't sit, but he did walk to the window.] I have no interest in forcing anyone's hand. I am generously offering to let you take both of these problems- [Here he motioned to box and girl.] away without any nasty press or police- [Here, a glare for Cris.] involvement.
[But Neil said the magic word - compensation - and the man smiled and very willingly motioned beyond the door.] Follow me. [And he led the way to the security room, which was three doors over, beyond the double doors into the main facility. The footage was already up on the eight screens there, already having been looked at, and he motioned to the chairs.] You'll see there is no delivery, and the patient walks into the social room with the box in her hands. There are, you understand, no recordings of the private areas. It would be a breach of privacy. [The videos showed precisely what he said they would, ending in the echo of screams and the takedown of the hysterical girl while she was on the phone with Neil.]
Now, if we can conclude this interview and put this unpleasantness behind us?
