Re: Quicklog: Bobbi and Clint - Clint's Brooklyn Apartment
[She almost made an offhand comment about him being more the barista's type than she was, complete with a pout and a sigh at the ready, but he was gone and she cursed the hearing aids sitting in the box because hollering after him would do no good. He'd done it on purpose. She knew it.
It was interesting that there did seem to be something in the air. Though she and Clint - well. They'd be likely to blame something in the air even if there wasn't something in the air regardless if they were together or with anyone else, or for any reason whatsoever. But this was different for sure. She could tell the difference. She was incredibly self aware, not just of her brain and how it worked, and her flaws, or her positive traits etc, but of her body and the way it worked. And she was not shy. And this? This was weird. She hadn't decided yet if it was a good weird or a bad weird.
But then he came back with drinks, and she uncrossed her legs and leaned forward on the couch and started about making herself a drink. She looked at the expiry date on the juice, force of habit, and looked over her shoulder at him and grinned.] Two days to go? I'm impressed. [She poured herself a drink that wasn't mostly vodka, but it was a little more heavy handed than your typical cheap NYC bartender might be during Happy Hour. She mixed it with the other half of the unused pair of chopsticks. Classy.]
If we're going to get drunk and fool around I need to go shave my legs.
