quicklog, hotel: graham & jake
[Graham thought some on what he was going to say while he waited. There were some things he could never make up for, he knew that; too much time had passed. But whether the boy liked it or not Jake was his son, he was his father, all the anger and hatred in the world couldn't change that. And he was here, now, even if his son said he didn't need or want him. He wasn't going anywhere. Maybe it didn't seem like it, but he loved the boy. Always had. And in his mind he really did think, if the wish worked, that Lore coming back wouldn't be a bad thing. Giving his son his mother back, how could that be wrong?
When he heard footsteps, he looked up from his perch. Jake looked better than he had in zombies, like he was being taken care of; he had Clem to thank for that. Despite everything gone wrong between them he was, at least, grateful that his son had her... course, that might not last once he found out about Joy. But that was a secret that would come out sooner or later, better he heard it from the source instead of someplace else.]
Hey. [He pushed himself up, standing.] Thanks for coming. [He near smiled, careful, but didn't move forward as much as he wanted to.] You want to sit?
