Re: West Village-Spidey and Norman
[Norman made no promises. After all, the whole point of this little display of heroics was to draw attention. He wanted people to know. When this is all said and done, he wants to be hailed a hero. And oh, he will be. He'll save an entire school of cute children if he has to. And working together with Spider-Man is great publicity. He's so very accommodating, keeping a smooth and steady path so Spidey can do his thing.
That thanks is like music to his ears.] Don't mention it, Spidey. Nice working with you.
[The glider hovers, and he watches. One alien zooms past on a course straight to the ground, then another, and it's like free entertainment. But oh, wait, he's supposed to be making sure the ground is clear, so he veers to the side and down to do just that. Spider-Man's hasty exit might be a little disappointing, but hey, there's a whole city that needs saving and ample opportunities to prove that he can do what the Avengers can do just as well, and by himself to boot. And so, off he goes.]
