Re: Upper West Side: West 81st.
[Selina takes down the remaining man in the hall. He's smaller than the rest, and she's gone after she slides the new weapons back to Pepper. She's up creaky steps by the time she hears the gunshot, and she hesitates long enough to get blindsided. The struggle leaves her with torn black in spots and red beneath, but nothing critical, and she knows going back isn't an option. Control is wherever they drive this thing, because it needs to go down, not up. She can already feel the engines churning beneath her feet. She knows whoever's piloting the boat knows there's trouble.
She takes the two guns off the corpse for herself this time, and she shoves into the small room that contains two men and the electronics that control the boat. It's advanced and old at the same time, the electronics, but she only gives them a second of her attention. Then men are on their feet, and the fight is gunshots and claws and a hole in the viewscreen that makes the boat start going down.
Okay. Not how she intended, but she'll take it.
One of the boys is young, younger than the others, and she guts the pilot in front of him. He pisses himself, and she laughs. Good boy.]
Put us down. And don't even think of touching the communication equipment.
[The gun's at his head, and he starts to do as he's told.]
