Re: Upper West Side: West 81st.
[Selina, as a rule, doesn't know how much she gives away when she speaks. But she's not really concentrating on walls and hiding behind them. She's concentrating on getting out, and the boat is starting some kind of descent, and this needs to happen before it touches down, if at all possible. And Pepper's response to whether or not she can shoot? That leaves something to be desired, but she'll take it.
She's getting ready, unwinding the bullwhip from her waist, and she stops for a second when Pepper says there are other boats like this. She's right, but it's the understanding there that catches Selina's attention. It's something that, were the situations reversed, she wasn't sure she would be able to say with that kind of calmness.]
I bet you wouldn't even hold that against him, if he knew and didn't come for you. [It's got a question wrapped up in it, because to Selina that's exactly the kind of thing that stings beneath the fur. But, then, she's been there more times than she can count. Maybe that makes a difference.
Focus, and she points at the three men outside the door, indicating she's moving, and then she indicates Pepper should stay back, but close; it'll be easier to get her the weapons that way. She's not even sure if Pepper can see the men, not without something to help her vision in the dark. Either way, point made, and she moves.]
