Gabriel's knees are always (skinned) wrote in rooms,
Yes. [Carefully, after thinking hard about it.] The first night that I hooked up with Ben, he showed me a memory of a beautiful place. A meadow in Nepal, outside of the monastery where he once stayed. It was springtime, and there was a river, and it was the most beautiful place I've ever seen.
I would like for the two of us, me and Ben, to be able to go back there for a visit, just like it was in that memory. I've painted it as I can remember, on the wall of my studio in our house. Ben hasn't seen it yet. When I take him in the studio on Valentine's Day, to show him that painting, I want there to be a door that will lead us to that meadow. I want it to look and feel real in every way, and we should be able to come and go through that door freely for a period of twenty-four hours.
[A pause, while he tries to think about loopholes.] We should be able to bring anything with us through that door - clothes, food, whatever we might need. And after those twenty-four hours, we will return to the studio in our house, and retain all of our memories from that trip through the door.
