Re: Quicklog, Ocean's 11: Lin A, Louis D, Neil D, Zatanna Z
[Unable to see, Neil could only listen through the door. It didn't sound like Louis remembered anything, not the flood or putting his guards to sleep, or even anything before that. He sounded different, though. More like himself, not like he had at Cris' place. It was both reassuring and troubling. He wasn't even aware of Zatanna's presence until she spoke; he jumped, startled, and turned to see that he was no longer alone. The woman couldn't be anyone else, especially since she hadn't used a door to enter.
It took a few seconds to realize that she hadn't spoken aloud. Oh, wonderful. He was less than thrilled, but he reminded himself that she was here to help. And Louis needed that.
You must be Zatanna. He thought it, uncertainly, and looked back at the door. Now seemed a good a time as any. He nodded, turned the doorknob, and braced himself as he stepped out. Louis, looking like he'd been through the ringer, and Lin cozied up to him. Neil couldn't manage a smile; he just cleared his throat.] Hello, Louis. Lin.
