Re: Jurassic Park: Gwen & Peter
Peter really didn't want to ask if she was snapping the picture for someone, just like he didn't want to ask who was messaging her; he was smart, he could figure it out. And, okay, maybe that was kind of a lie, maybe part of him did want to ask, but he didn't. Nope. Nu-uh. He took pictures of the dinosaurs instead, test shots, zoomed in and out to find the right angle. It was quiet, mostly, and he didn't look over until she tossed her phone on the blanket. Eyebrows raised in a silent question, he handed over another cookie while he waited to be filled in.
"He what?" Okay, definitely not what he'd been expecting. "Why?" He knew Harry wasn't exactly stable, but seriously, this was pushing the boundaries into full-out crazy. He watched her flop back onto the blanket, and it wasn't what she said so much as it was the sadness in her eyes, in the way she looked at him, that made him move. Camera slung around his neck, he turned to face her and scooted a little closer. Just a little. "What did you think they'd be like?"
