Re: Gotham: Penny & Jake & Clem
[Jake laughed. It was a rusty kind of sound, like he wasn't real used to doing it and abrupt, because it ended right off before it got done beginning. But he was plenty comfortable with both aunts in one room. They were family, and they were the kind of family that didn't make him feel guilty for being the way he was or they didn't know any better about it.
He didn't want to talk about Graham and he looked suspiciously after Clementine as she stalked off to make herself pretty, because he could see that question coming right away. He hadn't thought about Clem getting any younger: the age she was was right beyond the cusp of his following her around some and he wasn't troubled by aging up or aging down any when the person was the same no matter what.]
She'll be in there hours. [Eye-roll, and loud enough - surprisingly - to be heard from the bathroom.] It's a lot of make-up.
