Re: Quicklog: Bobbi and Clint at Bobbi's apartment
[As much as Bobbi wanted the pizza, Bobbi wanted the company and when she was in a weird situation, the company she wanted most was Clint. Clint was her best friend, and while trust was difficult between the two of them from time to time, she counted on him and she knew she did no matter how much she argued the contrary.
She teased him and she nitpicked because she cared. And as ill advised as their marriage may have been it was as amicable as their divorce had been and maybe it made them that much closer. And there was no one else she would have rather started a team with. And no one else she would have rather annoyed into submission on Super Bowl Sunday. Life wasn't so terrible for a middle aged divorcee.
She took the pizza for him but immediately set it aside on the credenza and practically ignored Clint in favor of scratching Lucky until his tail practically wagged him off the planet. And she had said "'Who's a good boy" and "Oh yes I've missed you too. Yes I have. Oh yes you missed me. Yes you did. Yes you did you missed me too." in every tone of voice she possessed and Lola had barked in every tone of voice she possessed. Then and only then did she mention anything about the possibly cold pizza.] Oh it's alright, anything beats the four hour quotes I was getting on the phone. Thanks for coming. [She said smiling up at him from the spot she had somehow landed on in the middle of the floor during her weird makeout session with the dogs.]
