Re: Quicklog, Clem's lakehouse: Graham R/Shane A
[Graham just laughed, quiet so he didn't wake the baby. Thing about Shane, about them, was that they never really stayed pissed at each other. Some friendships broke apart and severed, but not theirs. Hell, he thought of him more as family than a friend anyway. And family? Family stayed. Family loved each other even when they hated each other, too.
It didn't surprise him one bit, that Shane had talked to Clem. He tore his gaze away from Joy to look over his shoulder, real careful to give nothing away in his expression. He figured Clem had told him everything. But then Shane was saying he was taking her out someplace, which hadn't been what he was expecting. Head tipped to the side, eyebrows raised, Graham looked like he was seeing something he hadn't before. Or thinking about it, at the very least.]
Oh. [Clem could go where she liked, do what she liked, with whoever she wanted. They weren't even talking now, not since that damned diner.] That's nice. She'll like that. [She should be happy. And if Shane wanted to take her out... it shouldn't bother him one bit, yeah? He sighed.] Don't hate her. Just can't do anything right when it comes to her, is all. [He snorted.] A fucking freak, huh? Thanks. Ain't wrong, though.
