Re: Hallway: Hels & Gwen
I think I would need too many lists to determine the consequences of my decision on future events, and even then there would be too large a degree of uncertainty for me to make the decision. I'm super at decisions based on experimentation and proven data. I'm not as great at personal decisions based on intangible intuition. [She smiled at her friend.] I kind of suck at this stuff.
Mr. Xavier isn't a geneticist, and this isn't something in Harry's head. I don't think it would be his area of expertise, and the fewer people that know about Harry the better. We're trying to keep him safe, and that's not easy in a door where you're an acknowledged villain in everyone's timelines. They all know Goblin. [The notion of a psychiatrist, while sound, made her shrug uncertainly.] They can't medicate him, Helena, not with the antiserum in his system. He's green, and he flies on a glider, and he can't die. In my world, he kills me. I lived it. I'm finding it challenging to deal with the situation in an unbiased manner.
[She took a sip of the pop, and she straightened her legs out in front of her and leaned her head back.] Mr. Rogers and Peter were going to our last hope for some scientific information at one of Mr. Osborn's labs, but whenever someone goes to one of those places it's terrible. [She turned her head, cheek against the wall, and she looked at her companion.] I'm a total buzzkill.
