Re: Hallway: Hels & Gwen
Only lie when you won't get caught, or when you don't care if they'll find out the truth. [The latter was more true in her case, but she didn't blame Gwen for what she did and i was said without an air of chastising.
As for the question on prioritizing, Helena only shrugged in answer to the searching gaze. The first thing she had wanted when she realized it was really him was to arrange to meet him, talk to him, and while she understood how very much it had hurt when he died the first time, that didn't stop her from reaching a second time. Maybe with Bruce it had.
It was something to think about at least.
She picked up her chopsticks as she listened to Gwen's tale, and idly stirred her noodles around the container.] Is anger the disease or a symptom? Because how you go about fixing it depends on if anger is the main thing he's feeling or if it's something else. If the serum is making him violent, it could also be fueling his anger. [Seizing noodles and a slice of chicken between her chopsticks, she brought them up and ate slowly. Like the situation with Bruce, this wasn't something that she could fix for her friend.]
Break it down into smaller parts. You aren't responsible for Harry's relationship with Mary Jane or Peter and they're going to have to work out whatever was said between them. If he's angry because of the serum, then obviously he needs an antiserum, but with everything that's been going on - that might be part him too. With his dad dying, then finding out about Emily, Mary Jane dying and coming back - it's a lot for someone in a good state of mind to handle and I don't think he's been in a good state. You asked me to talk to him last year, and he wasn't in a good state then. So don't think ever yet. Ever is a long way off.
And don't - [She shook her head a little, and edged closer so their knees touched] - don't think it's the end of the world if he's locked up. I should have been, I have been, and it sucks but it isn't the end of everything.
