Re: Hallway: Hels & Gwen
[Gwen hadn't seen Helena in a while, but she wasn't surprised by the dark attire. She always associated Helena with the dark colors of their first encounter. She was glad there weren't any swansongs in the works, but she still couldn't imagine the other girl in bright pinks and yellows; it just didn't seem fitting. But she didn't comprehend that the color selection had anything to do with the not-present door that Helena was guarding. She couldn't see the weapons strapped beneath bulk, either, but Gwen's time with Jason had led her to believe everyone in Gotham concealed weapons beneath their clothing; she accepted it as a Gotham thing, like the smog and the dark structures that dotted the city.
She dropped down beside Helena, and she handed over the pop and set the pizza and the phở on the musty carpet in front of them. Chopsticks tugged from her pockets, and she crossed her legs as she sat and reached for the one of the two phở containers; better nutrient content than pizza for sure.] I don't know how easily I can get drunk now, but I won't turn down a fake ID.
[But that was one of her current secrets, and there was time for that later. She nodded toward the blank wall that she assumed would eventually become a door, ergo their presence there.] Is that where it materializes?
