Re: Asgard: Loki/Thor
A tiny furrow of his brows as he edged his heels into the horse to get him moving. "A --" There were few that Thor knew of that gave gifts of their answers. Few that could be called old friends. Fewer still that could be called that by Loki, who hadn't somehow felt the sting of his tricks enough to end whatever bonds of friendship existed between them.
Unless they were truly beyond Loki's penchant for mischief. Or perhaps they were as Loki said they were - friends, but newer. There were many times when Thor could not tell what was truth and what was a lie with his brother. Before, he had never known Loki to have friends beyond he and the warriors three. But there were a great many things that Thor had missed then, including Loki's misery, and they were not as close as he had once imagined them to be. It was possible - and good - for his brother to have companions.
The line between his brow eased as he urged his horse faster. And faster still when he laughed, following Loki's lead for wherever his brother wished to lead him to. Through the darkening forest, spots of sunlight barely filtering through limbs and leaves. "What question would you have them answer?" Thor yelled to Loki's back, assuring that he would be heard past the wind and the furious clomp of hooves on earth.
