[Interesting ears. Star Trek convention, or something more bizarre? Methos had lived so long that he tried not to rule out anything as impossible, and given the fact that he was in a comic book world connected to countless other worlds with a hotel, that meant pretty much anything was possible.
It still made him uncomfortable when he was seen through so quickly, though. His modus operandi was hiding and surviving, and being pointed out as a stranger immediately alerted him to trouble. If he could tell that, what else could he tell? Could he tell what Methos was? How to kill him?
But he seemed friendly, so Methos wasn't going to get on his bad side. Instead, he offered the man a smile in return and a casual shrug.] Where does anybody belong, really? [He lifted up his beer glass.] Cheers.
