Re: Mayflowers: Max and Solas
He accepted the phone with a grateful, and gracious, nod of his head and a murmur of, "Ma serannas." The Elvish words came more quickly and gracefully to his lips than whatever human language they all spoke.
With nimble fingers, he unlocked the phone and gave it a cursory examination. So much of it would have to wait, but he itched to sit down with the device and pour over its intricacies. He'd never understand it the way he understood mage and the Fade, but he couldn't keep with ignorance. When he looked up, his eyes were light with amusement. "I am unfamiliar with pop culture, but I imagine I shall learn quickly. My thanks to both of you. You did not need to help me, and yet you did." He sounded genuinely surprised, his tone impressed as well. "Should you ever find yourselves in need of... ethereal assistance, I would be happy to lend you my aide. For now, I will leave you be. I have imposed on your hospitality too long."
Giving them each a curt nod, he stepped around McKendrick and slipped from the shop. He'd find a quiet, grassy place to settle down and he would pass that time learning about the new device he'd been given.
