Re: Mayflowers: Max and Solas
Alright. Fair. "I don't want strangers touching me anywhere because it's a novelty." Her tone said she understood.
His laughter, the brightness in his tone, made her grin. Alright, that was kind of adorable, weird elf or no weird elf. She sent McKendrick the photo, and then she snapped another, because the ear trick was cute. She had the thought that Amanda would like the strange elf in the flower shop, and then she realized that this sounded like she'd just wandered into some fantastical children's book.
She gave him the phone, a few swipes of the screen pulling up the last picture she'd taken before she handed it over. "I did. I sent it to my friend, the one who I thought could help. Though I ordered him to come over, and he didn't." That last bit was muttered with fond annoyance, no ire; McKendrick was inherently childishly stubborn. It was appealing for someone who was too bossy by half.
"It's technology. You don't have cars. Do you have technology? Televisions? MP3?" She reached for the phone in his hands, and she swiped once to bring up iTunes. The song that began playing from the phone's tiny speaker was old and loud.
