Re: [Facility: Tony/Steve]
[The heap of rocks wasn't pathetic, but it certainly didn't hold a candle to Stark's laser or whatever it was. Steve's throat was dry, so he didn't say anything. He went inside the building to find the body of the first victim he'd set aside. A woman, he thought, though it was hard to tell. He would find a manifest, if there was one, because everyone deserved to have their name remembered, or uttered at least once more by living lips before they were forgotten. And, while it was entirely possible there were no records, as that would be the safer option for Oscorp, Steve, in that moment, believed they existed and that he would find them.
Nameless. Or just numbered, like cattle. That wasn't how it should go.
Steve didn't bother waiting for Stark to open the doors for him again. He winched the doors apart with his hand, breaking them, and gutting them open, wide enough for him to slip through with a body in his arms. She was the first he settled in that cleft burned into the ground, and the first Steve started to cover again.
He grunted with exertion as he worked, only pausing after a bit to finally answer Stark.] We're doing what we should have done when we left this place.
