Log: Kevin and Wanda
[After Talia went (presumably back to her own world), Wanda didn't attempt to tell Kevin about this last batch of disappearances and that she was now living in an empty Avengers Mansion. It had been alright when it happened before, but now? Now it was only a reminder of what was lost. And so she had contacted Charles instead. No matter how often he might assure her that she could come at will, it was still his home and it necessitated asking instead of showing up on his door as she had once long ago.
Maybe it was because Charles seemed so much older, maybe it was simply in his nature, or maybe his experience at calming people down, but he was always a comfort. Kevin... Kevin was still an unknown. She was learning more, but she never seemed to guess him accurately. He hadn't seemed upset with TJ gone, but she wasn't sure that she would have known even if he had been. In those few moments, he had seemed so young (humor as a shield) and she had needed more time to mourn the daughter she barely had a chance to know.
This though? Maybe this was a good idea. Keep her out of her own head for a bit. Her clothing tonight was simple, no scarlet in sight, no wimple, and unlike the last time she went out, there was no altering her appearance with her magic. Not tonight.
She was already in the foyer of the Mansion when she heard him calling, thumb sliding over her lower lip as she stared out the window at the grounds. Too many things to think about. Too many people to miss.] I'm in the foyer!
