Re: eddie/steph - iceskating.
[A laugh.] I think he would have appreciated being compared to Doctor Who. When we first started talking, he gave me his IM name and it was riddlerdalek. [The terrible made her backtrack though, and she raised an eyebrow. Teasing.] Are you saying that I can't talk about geeky things like Jurassic Park and Harry Potter with you anymore? [Because that would be jarring, wouldn't it? Her nerdy little Eddie washed away with a moment's notice, and Steph wasn't sure if that was going to be good or bad. Still, she embraced the happiness he clearly had, and she didn't question it. She loved the Eddie who was gone so much in her past life and even now, but she knew he was miserable. Absolutely miserable.
She shrugged, shaking her head.] I don't really blame you, I guess. [Her mouth screwed up a little, trying to hide a smirk.] Are you accusing us of wanting to live in Metropolis? [She took his hand without hesitation and tugged him along so they'd keep skating. Fingers squeezing his like he was an anchor.] I think it's worth it to bring some goodness into this city, though. My clinics, your work in Old Gotham. It's good. [After a moment, after squeezing his hand and biting her lip, she turned to him. There was another few seconds of her looking at him, and she gave him a funny sort of turn of her lips.] Cursed bride, huh?
