Re: In-person: Selina/Tony & Rosalind
[The bird mattered to Robert. For a thousand stupid reasons that Selina hadn't ever understood, and this was more of an acknowledgement of missing than a farewell. Oh, it was sentimental and ridiculous, but she really was lost. Robert had always understood, always forgiven. She could say anything, and he would walk her away from any ledge. Sure, it had been explosively bad at times, but never bad enough to lose the closeness. And now it was just gone, a void, and it didn't matter who came after, because all those shared things were gone. She didn't have robots; she had memories.
Rosalind flew off, and Selina was quiet. Tony broke the silence, and she was just glad she hadn't needed to do it.] God, yes, please. [She stood, and she held out a hand, and all the things that had gone wrong with them, they didn't matter in that moment.] Tell me you have something unbelievably strong.
