[The scales were a little warm, and though they were small, they weren't sharp.] Two reasons. One, because it was a prototype for Barnes, who doesn't have an arm. Two, because feeling means control. I could break your arm with this, and with the glove, it's harder to tell how much pressure I'm applying.
Maybe everybody hates funerals. [That would be the sensible thing.]
We're all replacements.
