Re: eddie/bruce crime alley log
[Eddie liked the thought of Bruce having a dog. Dogs were loyal, they needed love and they sensed pain. This wasn't exactly what Eddie imagined for the bat dog, but maybe that was a good thing. The green man looked up at the Christmas lights and then back to Bruce.] Well, I put up the lights. I have some guys guarding it, though I've found it's not very necessary. Muerte helps clean things, I think. Someone built her a shrine... [Eddie waited till they got close and then he pointed to a skull (probably fake?) decorated with plastic gems, nylon silk and a white veil. There were candles lit around it and pictures of lost family members, most of them criminals.] She's the true patron saint of this city, whether she wants to admit it or not. Santa Muerte, protector of the thieves, the killers, the lost.
[He kept wandering until they found an empty spot and Eddie carefully cleared the area before setting the candle down and handing a lighter to Bruce.] You aren't a religious man, are you?
