Finnick didn't move much from his stance, shoulders squared, feet shoulder-width apart, it was an easy position, comfortable, the lines of his body unobscured with the form-fitting training clothes he wore. One brow arched at the words that his name was familiar, and Finnick had to grin at that. "I doubt you've heard my name anywhere. Or are you from the Capitol, watching the games for entertainment every year?" There might have been a bit of bitterness in the words, something he just couldn't hide despite himself.
"And the heartless people force children to kill one another for entertainment. The Hunger Games. Have you heard of it?" He knew there were other worlds, other places, but the thought that some place else had the same habits was appalling.
