Some things, when people do them, they can't be forgiven. They can get softer as you get farther away from them, but they are still what they are. I don't believe that you would forgive Iris if she had done what she did to anyone else in the family. If she did that to Tess? Would you forgive her?
It's a good first step, then. I would love to see what you paint if you do. If you want to show it, of course.
