Those are good reasons to get out of it! I don't think you mentioned you had kids, that's great. Lucky you! [...] I don't know, I think people are the way they are, but they're capable of pushing themselves to be better, for the people they care about. Or at least go a little outside of their comfort zone. And I don't think anyone has to put up with feeling like crap because of someone else. Like those are his issues, not yours, and you don't have to carry the weight of them. I think the question is if you think he can find a middle ground, and if he does, would that be enough?
