Re: quicklog: mj & harry; her place
You're right. That is a good idea. [Harry only saw the reasoning in turning off their phones when MJ suggested it. He blinked bloodshot eyes and seemed to take hold of that idea with a nod. He'd have set his phone on fire or destroyed it in a disposal if the message from his father suggested it. But without taking immediate action, Harry was able to find a momentary glimpse of sense in what Mary Jane said. They could turn off their phones, but still bring them. What if something happened and they needed to contact others? Harry didn't have any desire to contact Peter Parker, but maybe they would need to call the authorities if they found something suspicious. Maybe the address that Norman Osborn's message provided would give them some proof or clue as to what had really happened to him. The entire scene at the morgue had been questionable, and Harry wasn't going to rest until he got to the bottom of it. But even then, a part of Harry secretly knew that getting answers wasn't the final goal. What Harry needed to do was fix this, in whatever way he could.
Harry walked over to a small table by the couch and picked up a pen. He quickly wrote down the address on the back of one of his own business cards from his wallet. After pocketing the card, Harry was in the process of returning the pen where he'd found it when Mary Jane was before him, gently touching his face. The feel of her hands, cool against his flushed skin, drew his attention up to meet her as he straightened. His face was red from a night's worth of crying, but he seemed calm when he slid a hand onto her hip. His palm wound past her waist and slid up her back, compelling her to the front door as he took a step in that direction.] I'm ready, I want to do it now.
