Re: Park: Cris M & Luke H
[As a parent Luke had learned pretty quickly how to multitask, but it was easier now. He could have a conversation and still tune in to what the kids were talking about, and he was aware of what Gus was doing without needing to actually turn and look. Marvel had been full of ups and downs, more of the latter than the former, but not all of it had been bad. He was glad that the guy didn't push about his dog, because despite evidence to the contrary he didn't really like confrontation. And as long as Finch didn't sense trouble, he seemed content enough to sit and watch where he was.
Gus seized upon the mention of birds, proudly informing the little girl that his pets and his maman all had bird names. Luke laughed.] It starts with birds. He loves animals more than most people. [He knew having a kid didn't automatically make someone a saint, but he was just a little less distrustful of fellow parents.] I hear you. His sister is coming up on her first birthday, and they're a handful together. [But it was said fondly, because handful or not he wouldn't trade his kids for the world.] Is she your only one?
