Re: In person: Clara/Doctor
"That sound a bit right. Easy to be distracted, you know." There were many things to see and do, after all, and the Doctor was busy. "That's why I just took mine full time. Made it easier." The Doctor rarely had to leave behind any of his, Rose, Martha, Donna. Unless it was his choice or theirs. Jack was a mistake, they thought he was dead, but his existence was a mistake in the end. The point was that his Companions lived on the TARDIS when they were with him, he only popped them back for visits or if it was important to them. You drop a Companion off, get into trouble, it was easy to forget. This way all the shiny things were in one place.
He made a face and tapped his chin, almost as if reassuring himself it was fine, thank you. "A bow tie? He was being a bit nostalgic then." His old regenerations sometimes wore them. This Doctor preferred ties, he was wearing one of them now, as skinny as his suit and general physique. "It's always something with us. Eyebrows, chins, teeth, ears. But never the ginger."
His own eyebrows - not a mind of their own - rose at that. He really didn't like this girl when she said impossible things, but he did like impossible things, so there was that. "Have you now." He didn't call her a liar right off the bat, because in truth it wasn't that strange, for more than one of him to be in the same place. Rare, but not impossible. All of them though, that was new. "How?"
