[As much as she wanted to go to Harlem and get the life changing cheeseburgers - it wasn't three AM yet, and the place two blocks away was pretty damn good in its own right.
The walk was quick, a bit of a blustery fall evening. It was getting dark earlier (and had been dark for a couple of hours by the time she made her trek to the carry out place), and the warmer coats had found their way out of the top of her closet.
It wasn't a long trip, and she was there and back in about thirty minutes. She was just putting the bag of food on the counter when she heard the front door unlock. Food safely on the counter she walked back into the front room when she heard the door open. Her cheeks were a little red from the chill in the air, and her jacket was still on, she clearly hadn't been back long at all.] Impeccable timing.
