Re: Hotel: 'Betty S'/Liam R
I like the way you think, Liam. [Becky had a similar opinion, or maybe it was just stubborn determination that made her certain they would find something worth finding if they looked hard enough. Oh, if only she'd been around for that pulse in Marvel, but alas. She couldn't turn back the clock. And asking for powers on the journals was risky, she didn't like the thought of putting that much trust in someone else. A stranger, no less. No, this was something she would accomplish on her own one way or another. Liam? Was just tagging along, a potential ally who might come in handy later.
There seemed to just be forest in every direction, trees and bushes and grass, but she swallowed down her impatience and kept the facade of someone cool and controlled wound tight.] What I'm looking for? [She tipped her head to the side, considering, as she pushed through a thicket of green foliage-- and found herself in a clearing. Ah. There, ahead in the distance, smoke rose in lazy curls above the treetops. It was better than nothing, and she smiled, glancing over her shoulder at her companion.] Power. I weak, once. But never again.
