Re: Quicklog: Babs/Dinah
[126 had kicked the crap out of her. She'd never sobbed over anyone else's happiness and outside the velvet, art-deco plush surroundings of the hotel's idea of a good, Halloween, old time Dinah wasn't about to start. The dress (what remained of it) had been kicked into a corner behind the bathroom door: she stood at Babs' door with a six-pack of beer, a plastic sack of Halloween candy in painted-on jeans and a leather jacket and boots that ended at the knee.]
The party had booze. Not my kind of booze but it had booze, so we're giving it at least a one out of ten. [Dinah breezed through the door, shower-scrubbed and dumped both sets of supplies on the nearest surface before hauling Babs into a swift, hard hug.] Without booze? The party had to blow. Unless there was booze. Was there booze?
