Re: In person: Erik/Charles
[Erik smiled fondly.] I remember hearing that a few times on our trip and complaining while training too. It was too sunny for the Professor, heaven forbid he got burned. [Not every day, depending on where they were, but he remembered the sunny times the best. It was no doubt a metaphor of some kind. It was sunny on the beach too, however, so that was an easy way to get rid of the fuzzy feelings.
He knew he had no right to know who, but he didn't like not knowing. There was too much suspicious about the entire subject. He wondered whether this was a deal with the devil situation, and that concerned him. He didn't speak those concerns out loud, because they were likely being projected at the moment.] But you still have your powers. [That was important to Erik. He was very upset when Charles traded his powers for his legs. It got rid of who he was, his heritage, the thing he convinced Erik and all the students once that made them special.] You look well. No worse for wear thanks to the hotel, unlike the rest of us. Too smart to drink?
