I don't think it's a bad rule, on the whole I'm not a big fan of killing. But sometimes it's necessary, especially in the work we do. We were invaded by aliens before, here and back in my world too, we couldn't spend all our time pulling punches, it would just get more people killed. I voluntarily turned into the Hulk, knowing he would kill anything in his path, because it saved people. And no one tried to stop me, because that's just what we do here, when we need to. That sounds exactly right. He just has a better grip on MJ and Gwen because they've known him since they were kids. So they still remember when he was on the playground with them and their best friend. I really don't like how he treats Gwen, which she knows, but I can't tell her who to be around. Our relationship might be paternal, but I'm still not her real father.
I know it's not ideal, but it's something. You do plenty good on your own.
