Re: In Person: Gwen/Max
[She gave Max a look but it wasn't cutting. She knew she sounded odd. Every word from Max reminded her how she should sound, the rhythm that was the modern tongue, but it was still fresh to her ears. It would take a while and Gwen imagined there would be all these sly smiles at her words. She let it go.] It was hardly necessary to know the world. Granted, I made a small fortune by knowing it, but it wasn't as if I ran into the characters I was familiar with. [Another sip.] Traumatized? Perhaps early on but I've weathered it enough. [The city was proving louder than she recalled but she didn't look wary. She had also grown accustomed to not showing too many tells. She blamed the assassins.] I probably won't be letting go of my daggers anytime soon, though. Old habit, you know. I miss my bow already. [The two names garnered a shrug.] Roger is surprising but... well, I'm not unhappy seeing he's here. We didn't leave on terrible terms. Merely... Well, there were barely any terms laid out when we parted. Thomas is always a welcome face. [She smiled a little. She at least got along with the man though she knew Max and him were not always on such easy terms.] Though he hasn't yet given me a sign, so I don't believe I'm expected to have an opinion on his presence just yet.
