Re: In Person: Steve/Sharon/Gwen/Jason
[Steve didn't comment about Harry. He took the information imparted and catalogued it. He didn't say a word about Gwen's interning at Oscorp either, as it was her choice and she knew the risks. Plus, she had a point. It could be strategically wise, even if Steve himself didn't like it. But spying had never been his game and he was no good at it. He'd let Sharon take a whack at it, if she wanted to.
No, what he was concerned about was Carnage. He didn't know this boy, Flash, though he knew he was Gwen's long-time friend, someone she trusted implicitly. He rubbed his knees distractedly.] Gwen, you're not being held responsible because of what Jason did. You're being held responsible for what you did, along with Dr. Banner, which was neglect the thing—you let it sit, forgotten, over there, and it fell into the wrong hands. What Jason did—that was terrible, but it's not on you. You did good work and you should be proud of it. But, as it is now? You asked me and Tony to put it away. We did. Sure, you can handle it, but that's not the issue. If you really need it, to look at it for reference, I'm sure we can arrange a space to let you do that, but it's not leaving Stark Tower.
