log: logan and rogue Who: Logan and Rogue What: exploring the mysterious hotel Where: Lobby, Passages Hotel When: ...now? Warnings/Rating: nothing now, just general Logan gruffness, but perhaps future reference of torture/experimentation(?)
A key and a journal. Logan stared at the small silver object, looking so appropriate next to his dog tags, and he willed it to make any sense. So much of his life was already simply a mess of memories suppressed until the nightmares struck, and now? A key and a journal.
Make that a key, a journal, and an abandoned yet upkept hotel.
Alkali Lake had offered nothing, but the journal was another mystery and another chance. As Logan prowled through the mysterious hotel, though, he began to realize it was probably another dead end. The key and journal, now gripped in one hand, might offer him something, but it wasn't what he was looking for inside the hotel. There were too many scents, and yet it was all faded and clean.
For an abandoned feeling place, it was looked after.
Logan carefully examined the lobby in hopes that there might be one more key (figuratively speaking) to what was going on in his life now. But whatever it was, it couldn't be that much weirder than running into a man who shot lasers from his eyes and being whisked off from his brutish existence to the quaintly named X-Men, where he did practically the same thing he had been doing before--cage matches, albeit ones with slightly more importance.
It was important to know one's strengths. Maybe it was best to refind the door he came in from and figure out the status of matters there. Once you started getting involved, there was never a dull moment.
