Re: In Person: Preston/Charles
It's quite alright, I don't smoke often but keep them out of habit - so we've got opposite problems it seems.
[Charles was trying not to comment on the emotions coming from Preston, he tried not to do it with anyone, most people it made uneasy and it seemed like an invasion of privacy, something he was trying to work on. But he also wanted to be as reassuring as possible to the man he was so hoping to help.] It's a home, not a school. Not anymore. I don't even know any teachers. [Said lightly and with a friendly smile.]
[He tucked the case back into his pocket and nodded toward the door.] Would you like to come inside?
[He wanted to apologize, for the invasion of his mind previously. He wanted to apologize for Erik's consistent bad behavior, but he found he wanted to do that to every person he met, just pre-emptively in case Erik decided to drop any submarines or stadiums on their loved ones. But he left it for now, he didn't think bringing all that up would help the situation at all. So he was a bit more vague.] Has it been as bad as it was since [...] well since the toxin happened? Or has it been improving as everyone's mind has calmed down?
