Re: Marvel: Sharon, Gwen & Steve
I'm good with hospital corners. [It was asserted with a smile at Mr. Rogers, who looked about as different dressed down as her dad had looked out of uniform.] My dad was Army a long time before he became Captain of the NYPD. We all went through phases where we wanted to be soldiers in my house. [The memory was a good one, and the smile lingered a few seconds after the words ended.]
The room looks wonderful, Ms. Carter. You don't have to touch a thing. [She set the bag, globe and pillow on the bed, and she glanced over at the mirror when Ms. Carter did. A laugh followed, one that was young and grateful. It was nice to have a room again, even if it was a small one in someone else's apartment.] There were lots of photos in storage. I'll just stick them everywhere and promise I'll paint before I go. [It was stated hopefully, and the fact that it was a question was indicated in the crinkle at the corner of her cornflower blue eyes.]
Thank you for letting me stay, Mr. Rogers. [Because she would be inconveniencing him too.]
