Re: eddie/muerte quicklog
[The volunteers knew the mask. Knew the green and the well-cut suits and that it all meant just another layer of safety. Especially if he was coming by the building, allowed to by whatever strangeness kept away things (and people) that everyone knew would upset the balance of the place. No, he was there with gifts and good things for the people there to share, and it was more than just the volunteers that gathered around to thank him. It was even those that were in need of help too much to be able to pay it forward through helping others. Young, old, sick with ailments more than justr the physical. The gratitude came from everyone
Two of the volunteers, kids who were likely too young to be on their own (but who likely were) lingered nearby. The girl, dark skin and a froth of bleached hair, was the more talkative of the two, her older brother standing behind her.] We don't keep much of the clinic stuff here. Here's for rest and food and water and the like. Got a place we can put it though, in by the kitchen. [She gestured over at an area within the empty space that had apparently been designated the kitchen - appliances and food piled on shelves.] An' Duane can help with the computer stuff. He's real good at it. [She pulled him forward by his t-Shirt, like she wanted to make sure he wasn't overlooked.] He helped get stuff running once we got power back, even though we got lots more people then cuz we was one of the first with the lights back on.
