Re: Hallway: Clem, Amelia, Shane, Graham
[Clem wasn't much for talking just then. If she went spouting words, she might go screaming her damn head off, and wasn't a person here who wanted to see that. It was like when she was real little and the servants would do something wrong, and her momma would lose her mind over a withered leaf in a flower arrangement. Clem was feeling real close to that, standing in a hallway and homeless all over again. The only thing she damn cared about, after washing, was finding a way to get rich. Simple as could be, and she wasn't good enough to care much over how. Fairy Tales sounded like it would be hard for that, so maybe someplace with a city would be best. But she didn't care enough to go saying it, and she watched Amelia try to tell, and she watched Shane ignore right off, and she wasn't surprised none that Graham was just willing to follow.
And the door Shane opened looked like modern day, and she didn't need anything more than that to get her feet moving. Graham gestured, but she didn't need that neither. She walked right in, and she grabbed the first person that walked on by and asked after a hotel for showering. That she was covered in blood didn't matter, and she didn't give a lick if their answer came from fearing.]
