Re: Quicklog: Bucky B/Sharon C
[Bucky was still looking down at his food, so he completely missed Sharon's rising panic attack, or rather he just caught the tail end of it. Her eyes darting, and his eyebrows furrowed, and then she stood up abruptly. Blinking, he got up too, but he was well aware they'd protest if the two of them started just walking out on the bill. He quickly threw down a few twenties, even if it more than covered what they ordered so far, and brushed through the door to go outside.
He was confused and thrown off. She didn't seem pissed at him, and if she was, she would've yelled at him instead of leaving like that. He knew that she knew Cap died, hell they'd been talking about it, and she saw Bucky as Cap. He knew a panic attack when he saw it, and he cared about Sharon Carter, he cared about her more than he realized pretty much until that moment. Sure she was someone he got along with, but no, she was his friend, and Bucky's loyalty was the type of thing that was never shaken. He was worried and focused on her. It didn't matter if people looked or cared what was happening, he moved over to her.]
Sharon. [His voice was gentle, far more so than he usually showed.] What do you want to do? Do you want to get out of here? We can go to your place or on a walk. Or stay here. [He didn't ask her what he said or what was wrong, she could talk about that when she was ready. The important part was to figure out how to get her feeling safe again.]
