Beheadings and people shot and it didn't matter how many superheroes in capes ran around Gotham, no one had stayed safe, no one. Holly's mouth pulled, and her cheek was snug against the cushion and the frilly edges of wanting badly to be asleep were threatening the darker moils of what all of that meant for this Gotham.
"I don't need a cape," another yawn, and she curled tighter around the cushion: she'd probably trip and she wasn't going to backflip anywhere and she liked? Not being a superhero. Baby Wayne was trying so hard to be a superhero she didn't think he knew how to be a boy half the time. "But I wouldn't trip." Nudge of her heel and her voice was drowsy, halfway asleep already.
