Remus was accustomed to Sirius and James and their shoves, and that it was a sign of affection, albeit an occasionally painful one. He was used to it enough that when he was pushed, he picked up sand, and dumped it right into Sirius' lap. That would show him.
"Perfect according to who, you? You're biased. I'm far from perfect." Remus had a lot opinion of himself. Not low to the point of being depressed, outside of the werewolf aspect, but he certainly knew he wasn't as bright and vibrant as his friends. He was average, and most of the time, that was fine by him. He didn't want to stand out. He smiled and shook his head. "You're ridiculous. One of these days you'll fall for someone. You're capable of love and loyalty, look how intense you are about us. So it'll happen."
