Re: Gotham: Spoiler/Cat
[Selina didn't expect Steph's usual brand of teasing, and so she didn't miss it when it wasn't there. In fact, this was comfortable, which was strange for the kitty cat. She wasn't really a team player, not really. Oh, she was used to fighting alongside the Bat (whichever Bat). She knew his fighting style well enough not to think or second-guess, but that was all the teamwork this cat was used to. Having another person around? That was usually just a liability. But it didn't feel like one tonight. Maybe it was the illusion of shared ache and share madness. She had no idea.
But she went as soon as Steph nodded, and she didn't even worry about the little bat in purple holding her own. Oh, when Damian and Dick sent her off to keep Steph sane, she was pretty sure this wasn't what they had in mind. But no one was going to be able to keep her inside, the quiet woman wringing her hands and waiting for news, and why should she ask that of Steph?
No, she found the window, cut the glass with a very sharp claw, and hoisted herself inside. And, as luck would have it, there was a goon counting money that was in a very neat and tidy little roll, pocketed away from whatever bigger goon actually owned it. He wouldn't miss it. Two minutes later, there was red on her claws, the goon was tied up with packing tape, and she had a roll of green in her utility belt.
She stepped out front just in time to watch the girl in purple to nicely invite the man to stand against the wall for a second. Selina leaned in the doorway, and she didn't even move to send her bullwhip hissing at someone coming up on Steph's right. The man landed at her feet, whip around his throat, and she bent over him.] The lady's asking questions. Shhhhhh.
