Re: In-person: Clark/Lois
[She hadn't noticed the cop. Her eyes went bright with interest, and she looked over her shoulder in search of the liquor store in question. They'd go there next. Even in Gotham cops didn't loot liquor stores. Dirty ones probably just walked right in, didn't they? She'd been scribbling on the journals too, here and there at lights, but she'd just talked to insane evil super geniuses that weren't actually sure if they were evil anymore.
The man with the knife stopped, and she didn't notice when Clark's stance became protective instead of bumbling. Nope, because she was too focused on how scared knife guy seemed about answering probing questions.] Is everyone working for someone? [She followed.] Are you working for someone? [More following.] Where are you going?
[The man sped up. Well, he wasn't a man. He was a boy. A scared teenager, and Lois huffed and turned back to Clark.] Let's go find your looting cop. [She walked, hands going all over as she thought aloud. She shoved the camera at him to carry, and she lit a cigarette, and something exploded ahead of them. She just moved toward it, quicker.] We have dead people eaten in a sewer. Cops. Looting cops. Escalated crime. Villains who think they're not. Clark, this is a story. This is it.
